Our Services
A root canal is a dental procedure used to treat infection or damage inside a tooth by removing the diseased pulp tissue, cleaning and shaping the canals, and sealing them to prevent reinfection. It helps relieve pain and saves the natural tooth so it can function normally.
A root canal retreatment is a procedure performed when a tooth that has already had a root canal does not heal properly or becomes reinfected. The endodontist carefully removes the old filling materials, cleans and disinfects the canals again, and then reseals the tooth to give it a second chance at lasting health.
Endodontic microsurgery, also referred to as an apicoectomy, is a precise surgical procedure used to treat infection or inflammation at the tip of a tooth’s root that cannot be resolved by traditional root canal treatment or retreatment. Using advanced microscopes and microsurgical techniques, the endodontist removes the infected tissue and seals the root end to preserve the natural tooth.
